PULLMAN, Wash. (May 16, 2024) – Three Washington State tennis student-athletes were named CSC Academic All-District by the College Sports Communicators, it was announced by the organization this week.
Junior Elyse Tse and sophomores Eva Alvarez Sande and Yura Nakagawa each were recognized for their athletic and academic achievements. It marks the second-straight honor for Tse and first for Alvarez Sande and Nakagawa.
Tse, from Auckland, New Zealand, posted 15-11 singles record, mainly at No. 2, while teaming with Alvarez Sande to go 17-10 in the No. 1 doubles position.
