STANFORD, Calif. - The Track and Field team had both men and women competing in the 800 and 1500 meters, with multiple men competing in each section, and only Luz Mercado, Rayna Stanziano, and Molly Dreher representing the girls at the Payton Jordan Invitational.
The Men's Team:
The Freshman, Spencer Wirshing, was the fastest Gael to finish the 800 meter run with a time of 1:53.79, and a split of 56.89. came in 0.15 seconds behind Wirshing, only 0.53 off his best time. Alexandro Alvarez finished with a time of 1:55.
