Before Friday’s practice even began, head coach Sean McDermott ruled both safety Micah Hyde and defensive end A.J. Epenesa out for Sunday’s game with the Dallas Cowboys.
Neither Hyde nor Epenesa have practiced this week as they are both dealing with injuries sustained in the Bills’ 20-17 win over the Kansas City Chiefs last week. On Monday, McDermott had said that both would be considered week-to-week as they dealt with their injuries — ribs for Epenesa and yet another stinger, his third of the season (or more likely a continuation of the same) for Hyde — so the news wasn’t unexpected.
